Arushan has once again been the breaker of great news. This time, he has released an Undercover save game editor, which not only allows you to copy cars to your garage, but it will also remove strikes from your cars you already have, Now even if your three hundred and fourty thousand dollar car is impounded, you just simply open your editor, set the strikes back to zero, and you're set for more action.

The program will require you to register an account with NFSNation.com if you wish to upload your cars blueprints for sharing with your friends.

High-Definition Texture Pack for Need for Speed Undercover available for download

An7hraX from NFSplanet has created a High-Definition Texture Pack for Need for Speed Undercover, which improves the textures in the game and shows them sharper and more detailed:

This patch modifies the textures in a way how they actually should have been, sharp and crispy. Primary I changed nearly all ground textures, borders, vegetation and even some traffic signs, buildings & props. The texture sizes are untouched to ensure best performance. Some guys complained about the excessive High-Dynamic-Range effects in the game, I think they look quite neat with some colorcorrection, so I included the EnbSeries hack from Boris Vorontsov with an adapted config. !!! Caution !!! PUNKBUSTER can kick/ban you for using the d3d9.dll during online matches !

NFSAddons hosting the First ever 'Addons Awards'

Our Affiliate site NFSAddons (formerly nfsgarage) is holding a new awards contest for users to vote on user created addon cars for all the Need for Speed titles ranging from Hot Pursuit to Most Wanted.
The contest is being held right up until the last week of December with the Awards being given on Janurary 1st. Register or Login at NFSaddons, and go to The Addons Awards 08 Link to start voting. For those who make cars, you still have one more day to sneak in some entries before the voting starts. Last day for new car entries for this award competition is November 30, 2008. There will be prizes given to the winners.

I'm doing a little something new this year... the first ever NFSAddons.com Addon Awards. Full details are on the awards page, but here's the basic rundown.

Every car uploaded to the site between December 1st 2007 and November 30th 2008 is eligible to receive votes. Each user can vote for up to 10 different cars, and on January 1st, the winners will be announced.
