Description

TVR Tuscan

Converted from Test Drive Unlimited to NFS:MW by mw_fun

It replaces the CTS

GENERAL FEATURES:

- quasi-realistic performance (proper top speed 170 mph /272 kmh/, 5 speed gearbox; accelerate and other performance data are between the reality and arcade performance of the original game, upgraded one has 5-10% more top speed and faster accelerate), in this case 190 mph/303 kmh/
- only one body
- paintable window
- no customizable front and rear window decals, no customizable roof scoop, no customizable spoiler, no custom vinyl (cause this is a gentleman ride)
- NFS: UC Driver
- STOPTECH brake caliper, NFS:SHIFT rotor
- rims and speedometer are also customizable.

SPECIAL FEATURES:

- no headlights glow
- MW license plates
- high detailed interior (about 12.000 poly)
- high resolution tvr steer wheel texture
- high resolution TUSCAN badge with silver lighted backgrond

EXTRA SETTINGS:

- If you want set up a TVR Tuscan race (only these cars are selectable as player car and as opponent car, apply the CAR_FILTER_for_TVR_Tuscan_cars.

BUGS:

There are many small bugs, I worked hard to deal with, but unfortunately can’t deal 100% with, I only make they not striking (visible). It’s about when you import an extracted TDU car mesh, often happened that one side (left or right) some part (that are in pair) are flipped and/or their normal flipped, I can solve it in Zmodeler (flip + internal faces flip), but it doesn’t give a good result in the game (those parts are invisible). I achieve best result when I only use the flip. It has the disadvantage, these parts has less reflection. I’ve decided to dark the texture of the opposite side part… I know this way is not desired solution… I hope you’ll like it in spite of these facts.

NOTE:

Please do not upload somewhere else than nfscars.net without my permission. Respect my work and effort, so do not convert or modify even a part of the mod. The basic model is available on web if you need!

INSTALLATION:

As usual and make sure that your MW is patched to 1.3 and Mod Loader by Arushan has been installed. Technical support: http://www.nfscars.net/forum/showthread.php?t=19953

CREDITS and ACKNOWLEDGMANTS:

- Arushan for Mod tools
- Oleg for Zmodeler 1.07b and 2.xx
- Atari Games mesh and textures
- I have our mod maker gurus from the site to thank for the inspiration.

I HOPE YOU’LL ENJOY!
