Description
Chevrolet Corvette C7.R 2016
This car replaces Chevrolet Corvette Z06 (CORVETTEZ06).
What works:
Colors, basic accessories, wheels, spoilers, everything else that's not listed under "doesn't work".
What does not work:
Hoods, body kits, lowering kits may have bugs. Wheels are done this way for the sake of symmetry of sides.
Liveries are NOT done for a couple of reasons:
1. I am not familiar with the process (TexED etc.).
2. NFS World doesn't have "unique" slots to my knowledge, so it makes the job even more tedious.
If anyone wants to do a livery, I provided edited ".png" file with allpha channel transparency instead of the original color texture so at least that part is done and car skin color can work with livery.
Installation:
1. Backup GEOMETRY.BIN and TEXTURES.BIN from the game data CARS/CORVETTEZ06 directory.
2. Copy "CARS" directory structure from the archive to the game data directory, overwrite all files.
3. Download and run "NFS-VltEd v4.6", select game directory, then press "Ctrl+I" (or go to the "File > Import > ModScript"), select "Install.nfsms" from the archive, click "Install", then click "File > Save".
4. Run game, buy or change to Corvette Z06.
Removal:
1. Copy backed up GEOMETRY.BIN and TEXTURES.BIN files back to the game data CARS/CORVETTEZ06 directory.
2. Run "NFS-VltEd v4.6", select game directory, then press "Ctrl+I" (or go to the "File > Import > ModScript"), select "Uninstall.nfsms" from the archive, click "Install", then click "File > Save".
3. Done.
Software used:
NFS-CarToolkit - nfsu360
NFS-VltEd - nfsu360
Blender - Blender Foundation, community
GIMP (GNU Image Manipulation Program) - GIMP Development Team
