I torrented the game but can still get to the game directory. Every time I try to get the data into the directory, it'll copy but the game wont load it... Am I doing something wrong? (I had the CD but it got scratched... And it wouldn't finish the last race.)

What you've got?MW Game?or a Savegame?
If it's a savegame won't load,follow these:
C:\Documents and Settings\user\My Documents\NFS Most Wanted
then paste the Savegame directory.

If the MW Game have a problem,reinstall it again.
It's ok if the CD is scratch.
My CD have lots of scratches but I used it fine w/o problems.
