Description
No matter what you say, the game sucks. From the simulation point of view, sucks. The software render is a piece of shit. But nothing is perfect and is a lot of fun to drive this super cars the way we like and not to worry about insurance and all that crap…Well here is my first edited car, the Diablo VT, this's from the first NFS; actually I used NFS SE data to create the dashboard. It's based ( of course ) on the Diablo SV. ( I just took out the air intakes in the roof and edited the texture ).The rings are very cool ( I took it from the NFS II SE' Cala ) and the air intakes on the sides are bigger and with airfoils. The performance was altered a little bit to match the Diablo VT ( the car goes up to 202 MPH and the engine redline is 7500 RPM). But what is most important is the dashboard ( I like dashboards, I think they are the element that add a lot of realism to this games), like I said I took the images from NFS SE and spent about a week hacking the files to figure out how to make the dashboards work. If you are interested in creating your own dashboards for NFS III e-mail me at erne@scheduall.com and i will send you the results of my hacking efforts and a small program I wrote.
To install the Diablo VT, just create a directory under \GAMEDATA\CARMODEL\ called LDVT and copy the CAR.VIV file to it. Launch NFS III and select Lamborghini Diablo VT
Enjoy!
