Hi! I really like where this is going, and i know when your finished it will be totally AWSOME. Cant wait.
But i have one question for you: Can you make it so it supports widescreen? it kinda lame to use nfsmwres all the time. if you can do that it would be even better!

Unfortunately the fact that Most Wanted doesn't support widescreen out of the box is a whole different issue. Its lame because I have to use nfsmwres as well, but thankful that RacerS made it. Modding the game to support widescreen is a bit outside my skills to be honest and I don't think I can do it.

I play MW on my laptop and as well all know, laptops have aspect ratio either 16:9 or 16:10. Mine is 1440x900x32 16:10 and best resolution I can pull off is 1024x768 which is kinda lame :/ Same for Carbon but ProStreet does support all resolutions and aspect ratios.

You should be thankful it's only 160MB. The SRT mod for GTASA borders on 1GB.

It saddens me that I won't be able to experience it until I get my PC back...

Are you going to update the mod after shift comes out or will you stop for now? also, is it possible to upgrade "movable items" textures too?(lamp posts...EVERYTHING, that your car can hit and make it move break or whatever.)
also, do we need to do the process all the time or just once and then launch the game normally?

The archive indeed is corrupt and WinRAR says that the CRC check failed in the Texmod Pack File [.tpf].
I don't think there is any way to bypass this so you'll just need to reupload again, I guess

As the mod stands right now (once I upload a working file, my apologies) you will need to start the game through TexMod each time. Its a small pain, but I think in the end its worth it to wait that minute before the game loads up. If I can figure a way around this without using Texmod I will. Also I definitly plan on keeping this updated throughout the coming weeks and months. I plan on picking Shift up later today but I have a feeling I will still fall back on the fun arcade gameplay Most Wanted offers that you can't really find anywhere anymore. And yes it is possible to upgrade movable items, I was planning on focusing on the traffic next, especially the big rigs that you can drive under and interact with to evade police.

I don't like some texture like starter picture (McLaren) because position of coplights are wrong and the picture resolution is wrong too. I don't like texture tires (sorry but it sucks) because position is wrong.

ya, the beginning McLaren is there from an older build and it only looks right if your using a 16:9 moniter. I plan on taking it out and just leaving the stock one. As for the tire texture I would have to agree with you, I'm going to go back and change a bunch of textures. I appreciate the honesty. How is it running on your pc? What kind of computer are you running?

It running very good, except for some problems with graphics card.
