I can't wait until I can finally make new police cars to replace the default ones from this game and then last but not lease Undercover I want to especially replace those boring Civic Cruisers with real Ford Crown Victorias or even Chevrolet Caprices, Impalas and even Dodge Chargers too. I think the markings from World Online would good in Carbon to separate the older ones from Carbon due to Palmont being in Carbon.

Aru and nfsu360 are both very talentated guys. I think it's legitimate to put them both on to the same level. They do an incredible job in Reverse Engineering. Especially to me - a complete idiot when it comes to programming and data structures - it is unbelievable how someone can read and understand what seems to me to be just a list of hexadecimal numbers.
It is unbelievable they did or do it for free in their freetime just for the fun of it or to learn from it.

wonder how will you solve the autosculpt part, i mean, if a car can't be tuned in autosculpt(has no parts in that section) the game crashes, right? like when trying to autosculpt side skirts of BMW M3 GTR. unless you can block off the parts so they wont crash the game. great to hear you cracked it,
im asking this because i care for tuner cars in Carbon and seeing untunable Evo X for example, or Skyline R32-R33 isnt all the best right? still i admit that at this pace Undercover and Pro Street might be cracked one day, with full tuning, autosculpt, vinyls, everything like damage AND quality of default Pro Street cars(excluding unfinished ones, of course ) and other stuff..maybe additional track? or Canyon circuits? just saying.

Two solutions:
- Some cars like the Le Mans, Zonda F and CCX can't have bumpers at all. We could tell the game a mod car can't have custom bumpers or other parts.
- Like in for example UG2, attach the part to the body. Autosculpt would be available, but nothing would change on the body.

nfsu360 is doing great work for NFS comunity, and his work isn't well respected here.
When NFS MW was cracked it was posted on the main site page, with wide description and screenshots, but when U2 tools were released we had to wayt for long time at least for cars section for U2, and nothing was told about who gave us possobily to convert new cars to U2, as for me that's just unfair.

And great progress nfsu360!

I got the solution for the autosculpt part. The .fbx format should be used for the import of objects and .fbx is known to store texture, model, animation, and special effects. The import filter should somehow gather part of the objects that is affected by the animation while importing each frame rate. Eh, it worth a try.

Carbon might be problematic mainly due to autosculpt. I'm sure that anyone who had M3 in their car list, had the game crash all the time when trying to use autosculpt parts that don't exist. Supposedly there could be a workaround but I don't have any info on Dav's progress to speculate further. I'll just see how things will progress over the next days or so.

As far as I know, Carbon has about 70 audio sets to be used via VLT. Pursuit data most likely remains unchanged. Stuff I'm familiar with, like engine, transmission, etc is identical to the one from MW. Chassis and tires nodes gained a few new settings that affect handling but from my experience, I've seen it all and it won't be difficult to design performance sets from scratch. That, of course, assuming Dav intends to make performance modding to be similar to what I'm used to deal with in MW. If that's the case, it should be very easy.
