This is one of my masterpieces. A one of a kind, You name it. I've been working for this for these past weeks just to remaster and perfect my work. This one's better than my previous road retexture. The reflections are scratch made. I was thinking of releasing only the current version, but I don't want to end up like Turn 10 with them downgrading the visuals of their retail release of FM5 so I included my first ever road retexture in this archive…
Installation: Make sure you have a backup of STREAML2RA.bun.
Open STREAML2RA.bun with NFS-TexEd, and import the textures. Yes, it's a lot of textures but it the hardwork will be payed off in the end.
Advanced for newcomers:
Each number on the .dds file corresponds to each file in an "NFS Archive".
for example: x-y-DXTn….
x = Archive I.D. no.
y = Texture I.D. no.
DXTn = .DDS File Type
IMPORTANT:
If you are using my NFSHP2010 Road Textures, set the Road Reflection Detail to 3.
If the Current Version, set the Road Reflection Detail to 2. ENJOY!
Final Remarks:
Finally, thank you for downloading, I wouldn't be more motivated to mod the NFS Series if it weren't for you. Please use this for good use, I don't make mods for evil intents. Respect my work, don't steal it. You are allowed to edit my mod but only for personal use. If you want to post this to another website, please ask for my permission and give me the link, and add a link to here. I'll accept your Comments, Suggestions, Opinions, and Advices, but please no personal requests. I make mods for everyone to use, not for only one person, and it's hard to make textures from scratch so please have patience. Thank you… :-)
I endured a lot, just for the time to retune how the reflections react to the light. I sacrificed precious things just to get the necessary equipments for this. I've spent hours watching gameplays, "Go Pros", Track days just to make it look realistic. As you can see, I have a lot of work, plus I'm courting a girl, and my school requirements. "Sigh", I'm gonna need a short vacation…
