This is the 1st Generation SmartCar ForTwo, I was looking for the second/current Gen, but couldn't find a free model of it around the net, even so, this version still hits my fancy just fine. Anyway I spent about 10 hours on this mesh. Downloaded the car from Google 3D Warehouse, used Sketchup Pro to convert it to fbx format so that I could manipulate it in Cinema 4D. The mesh was really good when it came to normal rendering and modeling usage, but for a game, it was terrible. So a lot of work was put into this mesh to make it look the way it does. I'm sure many people have come across this mesh already and had a thought of putting it into a game, but upon looking at the model and it's polygon/vertice flow/count, they changed their mines QUICK!
With that said, the polycount of the original car including wheels is 46k polygons. My reworked version has 44k polygons, I deleted a few things that weren't going to be seen in the game and made some higher polygon parts lower polygon.
The concept of this car is that it's an electrical/hydrogen powered car, so it doesn't have mufflers, but it sure is powerful!, So powerful that when it shifts, the wheels do a burnout! I don't think anyone has done this yet, so it should look interesting, for those that like addons to be original, this should be a nice touch, for those that are boring and like the same thing over and over again, you're gonna hate this addon, since the driver is FEMALE, not Male. In no way saying that this car is only meant for women, Women just look better driving cars in my opinion, if it's a guy, he better have a helmet covering his ugly fascia.

Car Info:
Replaces: Mazda RX-8
Mods: Spoiler, Roofscoops.
The performance of the car is pretty much like the RX-8 that it replaces except that it drifts a bit more and accelerates faster. Exhaust dummies are set at the tires, to go with the story of this being an ultra powerful electric/hydrogen performance car, when you shift or use NOS, the wheels 'light up', ^_^. The brakes are heavier though.

I left the author area as me so that if I ever need to edit or replace the source file because of an error or update, I can do so, otherwise it would have been set as Smart. No one knows what the original source of this model is, though a lot of people speculate that it was originally bought off of turbosquid and then freely distributed. The validity of this statement has not been proved yet though, but I would like to know who made it originally.
Anyway to those that are still reading, thankyou and have a great day, or night, whichever it may be.

PS, next car on the list will be a mini cooper, the one that has the lights on the bonnet.
