Description

Like what MTEBI said, 9 Letters that make a man very happy! DTM CLK AMG!!! ROFL.

Anyway it seemed this car was getting some hype so I decided to just finish it. Changed the license plate image to say nfscars.net Exclusive instead. Since I'm only uploading this car here and nowhere else. Didn't really develop any story with this car while working on it, since the mesh was already made, I just had to spend a lot of boring hours on making UV's on it and what not. The download link for the car can be found below in the credits section. I left the Author as me since I can't find the original author of the car and the place I got it from surely isn't the originating releaser. Also incase I have to do any updates on the car, which is very unlikely.

A lot of people are complaining about my logos, how the secondary logo and the manufacturer logo are somehow wrong or don't look right and want me to make NORMAL looking ones. Define Normal to me? Is Normal to be a boring pissing weasel that simply follows the paths that are set before them because they are too weak to create their own individuality? Why does everyone always follow another person's lead? By Lead, I'm refferring to the logos, How the left part is designated for "Manufacturer" and the Right is the Secondary car logo. Just because they were designated for these things originally, DOES NOT mean that you have to go and be so weak that you follow these expectations to the end. Just like a job, there are very specific rules layed out and ways of doing things, however those that are creative are usually looked down upon but are usually the ones that move up in the company because of their actual want to not simply be stationary throughout their whole time in their place of work.

I'm not going to change my style, yes, MY style, not chase_UC, not Lich King, not FOX(great guy), not GamerBoy, Not anyone, My Style. If you would rather be like everyone else, go be boring and die with a boring existance, But I'm not, I plan to always be reckless and to always be who god made me to be.

The car itself has the material shader that has no specular effect on it. For those that don't know what specular is, it's the overcast simulated/fake reflection of the sun on the car. The shader that I put on the car is the Custom Chrome shader. This shader is on the Stock and Body Part 3 of the car. The normal Car shader is on Body Parts 1 and 4 which is the normal, medium Reflection and High Specular shader. The Body Parts 2 and 5 has the CarbonFiber shader on it, which is low reflection and medium range Specular.

I put the roofscoop on the bonnet since the car's engine is under the front lid, not the rear, so the scoop was set on the bonnet for this reason.

Car Info:
Replaces: Lexus IS300
Mods: Roof Scoop, Rims, 5 extra body part sets.
Stock - Custom Chrome shader with DTM Decals.
Body1 - Normal Car Shader with DTM Decals.
Body2 - CarbonFiber Shader with DTM Decals.
Body3 - Custom Chrome shader without any Decals.
Body4 - Normal Car Shader without any Decals.
Body5 - CarbonFiber Shader without any Decals.

Performance is set pretty high and fast on max upgrades, the car drives like a regular maxed out car under stock settings.

Spoiler is not changable because I forgot to seperate it from the base mesh, and is too much work to go back and split them.

Polygon Counts:
Driver - 15,558
Each Body Part - 33.538
Other Car parts - 50.462
Wheels - 6,544 Each

Front And Rear Wheel calipers are placed in different spots.

Tires will go through the body panels if you drive aggressively, I play in First Person, so these little things don't bother me.

Why the file size of it all after being extracted is 37.7MB, the texture map is 4096x4096 rather than the 512x512 that 100% of the game converters use and 80% of the regular modelers/raw 3d file converters use. The driver texture map is 1100x1100 as well, again rather than the usual 512x512 or lower that everyone uses.
